The Women's Empowerment Unit held the second symposium within a series of seminars held by the unit.

The symposium, in which the assistant teacher, Muna Abd Al-Abbas Abd Al-Hassan Al-Fatlawi, lectured, dealt with the concept of empowering women from the Islamic perspective, the Arab concept, and the Western concept in terms of the historical heritage, as well as the role of women in work and education, and how to assume leadership positions with what was recognized by Islamic law on non-discrimination. between men and women in various fields of life and at all levels.

The symposium was attended by Mr. Dean of Shatt Al-Arab University College and Mr. Head of the English Language Department.
